In other words, Word Building. :) The worksheet includes 4 tasks: creating negative forms of the adjectives with PREFIXES, nominalisation with SUFFIXES, multiple choice and gapped sentences.

WORD FORMATION FCE/ CAE

Business English conversation using terms from accounting. The main purpose is to have the students interact and practice speaking. Teachers, however, can use it as a follow-up or initial task leading to more complex tasks. It is basic, but the terms can be taken for additional practice. The students are expected to develop their creativity while performing on stage by using appropriate body language, pronunciation, intonation and showing confidence.

It's a simple pictionary, showing the parts of a house and their  furniture. The parts presented are dining room, living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The teacher can print the pictionary as posters.

2.Students are only allowed to ask 2 questions to a classmate.

A useful chart, gapfill and speaking practice to teach your higher level students weather idioms.  I always encourage my students when using idioms to write some sort of short dialogue to show meaning.  Alternately, you could have them write example sentences to read to the class and have the class guess which idiom the sentence is for. 

Weather Idioms

An activity based on a song by Miley Cyrus. It is useful to work with the present continuous or -ing forms. There are gap-filling parts mixed with sections where you have to order the lines. For lower levels, it should be done while they are listening to the song. Advanced students will find it more challenging if they are allowed to give it a try before listening and then check their answers while they listen.
