The third variant of the task that helps me challenge my students to ask questions. The task is to find out some information about the person. The problem is that students are not given a question form structure. They need to read, understand and make up a nice question on their own.

Ask me a question activity part 3 (teaching students how to build a question)

Hand out the worksheet for Ss and make sure they understand the words/phrases. Provide them with examples of what you would like them to do in this activity.

Ss then find a partner and ask each other ONE question about one of the statements. If someone’s answer is positive, their partner can write down their name in the table. After that let them move on the next person. Whoever collects 4 names first  will be the winner and has to shout "Bingo!" out loud. (These 4 names must be in a row: diagonally, horizontally or vertically.)



After the game it's useful to have a "feedback" part - e.g. everyone shares the most interesting thing they found out about their groupmates.

Before Christmas it is good to revise Christmas vocabulary, so with these questions you can do it. Brainstorm! Give it a try! Your students will like it! You can play it like a competition, divide your Ss in two groups. The group that is able to answer more questions is the winner.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
