This worksheet is made to drill the very beginners questions such as : "What's your name", "How old are you ?", "Where do you live ?", "Where are you from ?", "What's your favourite colour ?" and so on ...

I first introduce the questions to my pupils and then they have to work in pair and to ask each other the questions, then they complete the chart.

This worksheet can also be used after introducing "he" or "she". First pupils ask their friend the questions (so it's also a reminder of "you" and question sentences) and then they make sentences about their friend.

Gerund after prepositions (part 2) Speaking

"I get up at 7am" Beginner / Elementary class.  Students fill this survey to ask their class mates what they [usually] do.  Practise the present simple.  Communicative speaking activity.

Time: 20 or more minutes.



Present simple class survey: routines

This is a fun icebreaker ESL speaking activity for teen and adult ESL (EFL) students. It's rather like a 'Find Someone Who' activity except it's BINGO! Students mingle around the class, using the prompts in each square to form questions which they ask to other students. If they get a positive answer, they can cross that square off their grid. When they get 4 in a line, it's BINGO! When they have 3 lines of BINGO! they can sit down. Teacher’s notes are included.
