A short exercise to look at different vocabulary, some of the words are Spanish cognates and false cognates. There is a practice page as well. The quiz can be done in teams. The answers are on the back.

What does it mean 2

This activity is designed to open dialogue and to practice fleuncy. Ideally print the sheet and cut into strips, fold these strips and put them into a bag. In groups get students to pick out a question and ask the person next to them. For 1-1 lessons either select and ask the student the question or take turns asking and answering. 

Question Bag -  Conversation starters

Students prepare questions about some past activities. They move around to find someone who did the activities and write their names. They fill in the sentences with the students' names and choose the correct verb form (either positive or negative). They report the results to the class.
