For the firt days of school, it is very important that students (specially kindergarten graders) can pick up the Englihs language through common schools daily expressions. Hope this material can be useful for teachers.

Classroom commands

With this fun worksheet, your students will follow the instructions below to colour the clothes of these two characters, Peter and Lily. If they cannot read yet, the teacher can read the instructions aloud.

how to keep fit?

http://www.idodogtricks.com is a flash website with a cute little dog sitting patiently in front of a couch in a living room. You type in commands for the doggie, and if the dog knows how to do the task, you’ll see it run around, bark, roll over, etc. If you have a projector in the classroom, you can play fun games  with it in ESL class. For example, one game could be to put students in teams, and let them call out a command for you to type in. If the dog responds to the given command, the team gets a point. 



This is a great way to practice some basic action verbs. It’s good to know which commands the dog will obey, since you might want to give clues to your students if they get stuck. Please see the list below.

This worksheet is a guide for students to make a presentation in front of their classmates of how to make lemonade.



First, they will solve, color, cut and paste the worksheet elements in the notebook. 



Then, in groups of four, they will bring to the next class, the ingredients and kitchen utensils (a jar, a ladle, plastic glasses, etc.) and show step by step how to prepare the lemonade.



There should be a plastic to cover the surface of the table where each group will make the presentation to protect it from lemon juice and water.. ;-)
