I do many different activities with these cards; giving student the opportunity to express their first impressions.  One example dialogue is included here.

This worksheet is for adults and high school, level B1 to B2 students. The students read the text and answer the questions  questions. Students have also to ask questions about each invention. The text should also introduce a debate about the subject.
