Shape Information Gap Exercise

This is an activity to practice vocabulary for different shops around town as well as time vocab.  It also practices phrases such as: "What time does the... open in the morning?" or "When does the... close?"

Buisiness Hours Information Gap

This information-gap activity helps students to practice questions with the verb TO HAVE as well as short answers. Each pair gets a version of the table (A/B) and their task is to find out the missing information.



A: Does Amanda have an English book? / Has Amanda got an English book?

B: Yes, she does. / Yes, she has.

Information gap - TO HAVE

This Christmas theme activity is an information gap activity devided in two: 



1) the students first have to design their own Christmas ball using different colours and designs. 



2) Through asking questions, the student has to find out (and try to draw) how a classmate's Christmas ball looks.



The directions for the activity is also on the activity paper.



When I uploaded it, there was a little change in the layout; where it says "patterns" should be right over the patterns.

HALLOWEEN-INFORMATION GAP ACTIVITY

The objective of the worksheet is to practise can/can't affirmative, negative and question sentences. 



It's an information gap worksheet. 



Student A gets a table featuring 4 people's abilities. Half of the information is missing. Student B has an incomplete table as well, but they have all the information Student A needs. Students need to ask each other questions and answer them in order to complete their tables.

Can/can't information gap

The objective of this worksheet is to give students opportunity to practice asking and talking about people's future plans. 

It is an information gap speaking activity. 



There's the key on the first page of the document. Student A's and Student B's worksheets are on the second page. 



Lead-in: Ask students if they have any future plans. Listen to their answers. Tell them that Ann and Tom also have some future plans. (Specify what kind of future plans these are, for example, spontaneous. Ellicit what tense to use /depending on the kind of  the plans, it can be going to, Future Simple or Present Continuous/)



Follow-up: Ask students who they are more similar to, Ann or Tom.
