The Mary Celeste Mystery

A restaurant dialogue between a client and waiter.  First the students put the sentences of the dialogue in the correct order.  Once completed they should then practice speaking.  Good for work on pronunciation and intonation.

This board game is very funny to improve his/her location vocabulary and intensify his/her intonation with his/her english partner learner. you may practice this board game in your free time with your falimy, friends or others.

Students match the sentences with people to show understanding, and then practice intonation.  Then they prepare a speech and give it to the class. Students can "vote" for their favourite politician.

Inversions and politics

Students read a text using these cards. They have to use different intonations and voice tone to read the text. In groups, they take the card and read as it is said.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
