This is designed for higher level business students to write an opening sentence to describe the graph that they see. This it good as practice for English language exams or for practical business English use. Review the examples and the meanings and then have the students describe the graphs.

Introduction to Miami

This is a worksheet. The type of the worksheet is a matching activity. It can be use for the beginner students who is learning about how to greet and introduce someone else.

Introduction and Greeting

This speaking activity helps students find out more information about their friends for the first day of school. Each student will receive one copy, write down their information in the "you" column, then he/she will go around the class to ask three other students the questions. The student will then talk in group to share the other students' information.

Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
