A ranking activity to talk about inventions. What do students consider more important? You can make a ranking with all your students and see what they think is essential. They can become inventors and design their own gadget. Then they can talk about crazy real inventions. You can modify the activities or use them as you want.

Examples of the most crazy inventions. Divide class into groups. Each group needs to choose the invention and prepare a presentation about it. They need to mention it key features, how much money it needs and how much it will bring if you started to sell it. Others should listen and decide whether they give money to support the team or not.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
