Landforms

Students read and listen to information about landforms and create a graph. They answer questions 

with least, most and the same. They also read for information and list it on a graph. 3rd grade NYS curriculum. Vocabulary- data, graph, record.

Landforms/math vocabulary

This worksheet includes mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, cliffs, and plains.  Drawing lines, the student will match pictures to the correct landform.  Answers included.

These vocabulary sheets can be used with the landforms PowerPoint I have uploaded or used without.  They can be used as a cut and paste activity or laminated to make a matching word and meaning activity. I used this for a grade 8 SEN class, or this could be used for middle primary classes.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
