This is a reading comprehension worksheet with 2 exercises. After reading, students will have to answer a few questions regarding the text and find synonyms for the words written in the last exercise.

Country Life vs. City Life

The first section is a cloze dictation. The Teacher reads the full passage and students listen and fill-in the blanks. This is followed by a picture of an urban scene and students work in pairs to make sentences about the picture. Finally a discussion that can either be done in pairs or as a group.

City Life v Country Life

this is a test composed of a reading comprehension part and three language activities. the language activities are about school memories, friends and pocket money.

This is a simple worksheet and it may be used as an extra activity when teaching the topic 'School'. Students read the text and answer the questions to it. Then they underline the school subjects they study at school and choose the right answer in exercise 4.
