A worksheet containing theory and practice on linkers. It was made with vocabulary from Macmillan's Prospects Advanced - Trains Boats and Planes. To save resources, you can print it on both sides, then cut it in half.

Connectors and Linkers

This ws can be used either for private classes or for pair-work. Cut it into individual cards. When they have finished, they can invent other sentences using the same linkers. I hope you like it :)

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
