Hi, this is a ws I prepared to work on the very first episode of the LOST series. It was originally part of a sequence about desert islands, but can still work on its own.

Group activity. Students have to agree on which objects would be most useful on a deserted island.

Ideal with students who are learning different ways of saying "I agree, disagree..." and to give reasons for their opinions. 

Can also be used to practice the conditional or the future.

This worksheet includes speaking, listening and writing activities about the Lost and Found office in the London Underground.

The worksheet is about text on unusual hobbies. There are three paragraphs which describe three different kinds of hobbies. At the end of the text there is a question-answer part and after that there is a vocabulary part that includes the 10 unknown words with their meanings to match.

There are three pets that were lost, and the three owners were so worried about them. Read the description and the information, then find the pet with the owners.

Finding lost pets

in pairs, read and fill in. THen listen and check. THere are some idioms, prepositions and some americanisms. It`s a worksheet which is suitable as a warmer because it takes about ten minutes to complete.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
