this lottery has been a good resource for me to work with my students , is a not very extensive vocabulary of animals , changing the routine and delighting the class with some adrenaline .

Animals lotto

A fast and easy lotto for beginners. Here we have 11 words: rainbow, sunny, windy, partly sunny partly cloudy, rainy, cloudy, snowy, stormy, foggy, hot and frosty (or cold if you want) weather.

weather lotto

It's a regular space vocabulary lotto for up to 4 players or teams. You take a card and name it. If it's your card you put it on your lotto shadow if not, the one who has this shadow picture on their lotto card gets it. The one who collects all their  pictures first is the winner.

Space lotto

A kind of lotto/bingo game to revise the vocabulary of jobs, in teams.  A funny game, with a Teacher Note included.  The students have a board with the names of jobs.  The teacher gives descriptions and the students have to match the descriptions with their words.  Can be a very funny and loud competition to revise that vocabulary.

Job lotto

It is a usual lotto game where you need to collect the items from your list before anyone else collects theirs. There are 7 cards with 6 items of food in each. 

Food lotto Supermarket

It´s a board game to practise vocabulary connected with winter sports. Cut out the first 2 pages into 8 separate cards. There are sports and 4 items you need for that sport, each student has one of these. Then cut the other 2 pages with pictures. Put them in the middle of the tabel. Students take turns in turning the cards over. If in the picture there is one of the things they need for their sport (according to the card), they say "I need the...(and the object on the card)." They put it on the appropriate place with the word. If they do not need it, they say "I don´t need the... ." to practise the vocabulary. Of course you can use them for any other card games, eg if you print only the picture cards 2x, the students can play pairs etc. ;-)

Winter sports lotto

Content:

6 Lotto Cards and 72 little cards.

Print them on A4 format or print 2 pages on 1 A4 to get A5 format LOTTO cards.



Players: 2-6



Rules:

Every player gets a lotto card (A4 showing a table with 12 pictures).

Shuffle the little cards face down and lay them on the table. The player whose turn it is may turn a little card. If the same picture is on his card he lays on his  LOTTO card. Say the word of the picture you turn. Lay it back if it is not on your card. Then the next player gets the turn.

The first player who has a full LOTTO card wins.

Students practice numbers. The rules are very simple:

e.g. "Give me twenty, please."

       "Here you are"

        "Thank you"   

Students work in pairs. Give each pair one set of lotto cards and one plan. Students are supposed to ask for all the cards from the partner and put them up side down on their plan.

There are 6 menu cards with a type of  a drink, a dessert, a snack, fruit, breakfast, lunch and dinner in each. You can change the menu before printing it out by replacing my cliparts with yours if some of them are not to your taste.

A domino, a lotto or a memory game with irregular verbs. The vocabulary is connected to 3 short youtube videos, links are included. This is a way for your students how to start learning irregular verbs. Every parts are fully editable, description how to use them is included at the last page. My classes usually start with these verbs, we continue with other activities and extend the irregular verb chart.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
