Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Everything you can find in a living room. One page has the objects laid down and written their names underneath and the second one has only the objects and the student must remember the words that describe them. Good luck!

It´s a short text about the New Year´s Eve in the UK. First students have to write the words (which appears in the text) under the correct pictures. Then read the text about the main traditions in the UK like FIRST FOOTING and what kind of things bring good luck. After that answer the questions T(true) or F(false). I hope it will be interesting for your students . 

New Year's Eve in the UK 

A set of 50 different dominoes (50 pairs of easy opposites) to print, laminate and play with.



In addition to the words there are small visual hints and also, all the dominoes have the number of spots which must match. (For example; the opposite pair of 'POOR/RICH' both have two spots.) This will help younger learners know if they have the right word match.



Although the English is at a basic level the game can be enjoyed at all levels.



There are many ways to use these cards with both small and large classes.

Create pairs. One of the pair is an interviewer and the second one is a candidate for the job. The candidate has a CV and according to that CV he/she answers to the interviewer´s questions, which are given.

The interviewer can create his own questions as well.
