I really like this song called "Rude" by Magic, so I created this lesson for my students who love learning English through songs. It's the first worksheet I share on islcollective so I hope you'll like it! :)

Rude by Magic

A great picture, with lots of crazy things happening! A chance for a bit of fun. You could just ask them to write down the names of all the animals they recognise. To practise the present continuous, there are 25 sentences which they read and decide if what is happening is normal or strange. For example: A monkey is reading a newspaper. Strange!

Students have to figure out which word parts go together to form a word. Pictures should help them find the words easier.

Witch's magic potion

A beautiful song from the Canadian band: Magic. This song is about love and it is a very nice topic to discuss and learn new words, idioms, phrases, etc. 

I've created this activity to introduce the vocabulary about family to my 3rd graders. They watch the video on youtube and write the sentences next to each picture according to the video. After they sing a song.

This boardgame was designed to remember the vocabulary of the book "Meg and Mog" that we studied.  It enables to use the present simple and the vocabulary of Halloween.
