Manga emotions 

This is just a fun lesson by which I wanted to divert my students from the stress and anxiety caused by the pandemic and the exams. I am teaching future engineers most of whom are huge fans of video games, and Japanese cartoons and comics. I have use the anime Mushishi, and a short clip from Road to YouI hope you can find it useful.

Japan Earthquake Prediction in Comic Book Scares Tourists

This fairytale was based on a supernatural creature known to the Bajau community as Sumanga. Sumanga was referred to as the spirit of wooden sailing vessel that Bajau community built and used for fishing and other activities. Sumanga could influence the fishing activities since it was known as the bestower of luck. However, if people misbehave or break certain traditional rules, Sumanga could jinx the people and they will experience a series of undesirable incidents. There are several questions related to the story in the material. This was written by Sirhajwan Idek. It is also available in ESL Printables.

his tale was based on the common lore of mangat. Mangat could be literally translated as ghosts. They were perceived to be the spirits of the dead that were stuck in the world of humans as these spirits were supposed to cross to the spiritual world. This story foretells on how a family led by their son copes with the presence of mangat in their village. This story was written by Sirhajwan Idek. This material contains several questions.
