This is a summary for a part of the UK - England. You can use it for revision, as a summary or after learning some important facts. You can also use it to write an advertising text about this fascinating part of the UK or simply as a classroom poster.

It´s a Past simple. You can this with your students to explain about the past simple and regular verbs.

Past Simple map

This is a coloured world map. Students write the names of the world countries in the map. It's suitable for young learners as well as adults at a beginner or elementary level.

Another activity that I find useful. Kids love when they can create something.. In this game they complete a thinking map and write there what they have learnt about the town. They use basic vocabulary: buildings, who live there, what they can buy in shops, what types of town they know etc. you can add more bubbles :)

* I have laminated it and kids write words with a  marker. So you can use it more times ;)

THE ZOO MAP

This is a fictional map of Paris and it can be used to teach prepositions of direction, prepositions of location and adjectives ( shape, colour). It is also available in ESL Printables. Developed by Sirhajwan Idek.

It is a very simple map for giving directions, but I think its simplicity is an asset when teaching at lower levels. I put it on the OHP and when I have to teach "Go down..." or "turn righ/left" I move it accordingly, so that students don't get confused
