This worksheet is done to supply the students\' book Prepare 7, Unit 1 "Creative minds", reading comprehension and vocabulary practice with. The definitions are taken from Oxford Dictionary Online.

Answer keys are given on the worksheet, don\'t forget to delete them before giving the task to the students :)

Wh-questions handout

A worksheet to put several paragraphs in order. There are three halloween stories, the student cuts out the paragraphs and then sticks them in order in their notebooks, or on a piece of paper or card. The last paragraph is kept by the teacher and given to the students once they have correctly completed the rest of the story. Remind students not to stick the paragraphs down until they are absolutely sure of the correct order. The stories have been slightly edited to to be suitable for young people. The full stories in the correct order are also included. This is for a high A2 or B1 and B2 levels. 

Halloween stories

Students  have to transform  these  active  sentences  into passive  voice. The teacher can remind the pupils  the  rules  in orde r to  do it correctly. Thanks.

A passage about a teacher who joins up to an esl website. On the second page, a gap fill and a 'replace the questions' exercise. This is a ws that reminds students that teachers are humans, too!

This worksheet aims to clarify the times expressions used with present perfect such as: since, for, yet and some others. 

It contains some examples related to my teaching context here in Chile, nonetheless, you can edit the one you thinks don´t fit your reality. 



It also reminds the structure of the present perfect tense.

A technical overview of all present tenses, with only Past Simple and Past Continuous. I used colours for each different feature to help students notice the differences on a broader scale. you can change the examples if appropriate (e.g. the names or the verb itself). the same verb is used throughout to point out the differences. students should be reminded of the difference between state and action verbs, to realize that not all the verbs could be used in the whole chart. If I have a projector, I usually make certain words white, and the students have to say the correct form or tense marker. The Past Perfect should be input by students in class, or use it as it is for lower levels
