When I play Monopoly with my students they have a couple of tasks. First, we use xbox one and therefore listening is involved so students complete what they hear. Secondly, students are asked to find prices of different "rent". 

Monopoly

Revise tenses using the time honored game monopoly. First distribute the sheets with the assigned hotels . If somebody ends up in a hotel must answer the questions at random of the hotelier. Money can be gained or lost answering the questions saying if they are correct or not. The hotelier gains the money in case of wrong answers. When the questions run over the winner is the one with the maximum sum of money left.

These are some monopoly style game cards I made up based on Barcelona for students to practice negotiating. Hand out equal amounts of money and make sure no team has a monopoly. They have to go around negotiating with each other to make up their monopolies. The winning team either has the most value or the most about - you decide. Feel free to adapt to where you are in the world!  There is a second part to this! Enjoy

Each square contains the instructions on what do you have to do when you step on the particular 'street'. Suggestion for a game: if you have to name 2 nouns you get 2 points, if you name only 1 you get only 1 point, every time you pass the 'start' you are taken - 5 points, if you go to jail you lose all the point you had up to that time, rest room is a neutral place. As far as you get tired of naming quantifiers you may change it to sentences with quantifiers or whatever else :) Have fun!

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
