After the 'introductions' worksheet, this is the first *real* story in the series following the O'Malley family. It's a Sunday morning and Mr. O'Malley gets up and lets the kids watch TV so that this wife can sleep.



After students have read this, I tend to ask how they feel about his parenting strategy. Is TV the right way to shut kids up? Should she be waking up? (I should add -- these stories are meant for adults, though there is no 'adult content.')
