A 60 mins. TEST-TEACH-TEST, learner centred lesson for revising the various present tenses (pronunciation done by oral class drillings not included). With answer keys.The Test-teach-test lesson shape is quite an engaging and demanding shape. Students are actively involved in their learning and the teacher talking time is reduced to a minimum. You can allow approx. 5 minutes each task according to your Ss' level, and 2 minutes for pair check and answer key check for each task. A picture about safety conditions. This can be used to practise modals, particularly SHOULD. First, they students match the descriptions to the picture, then they rearrange the sentences to say what Mum should do. This can lead to some good speaking practise about do's and don'ts in the kitchen. Key included.

A worksheet which focuses on the 3rd person singular. I inspire on another worksheet but I changed the daily activities. Previously all housekeeping was made by the mum and I changed that dangerous message to the kids. 

Present Simple 3rd Person

Revise tenses using the time honored game monopoly. First distribute the sheets with the assigned hotels . If somebody ends up in a hotel must answer the questions at random of the hotelier. Money can be gained or lost answering the questions saying if they are correct or not. The hotelier gains the money in case of wrong answers. When the questions run over the winner is the one with the maximum sum of money left.
