This is very useful with kids, teens and even adults. You can use this as a free drill just make sure of your time and number of students. Have them say the words to practice pronunciation. Don't forget to say "Thank you". I hope you like my job pals.

Memory Game Comparative-Superlative Adjectives

Read the questions carefully.

Ask yourself which tense is the verb in the question first.

Then answer in the negative and the affirmative using the same tense as in the question.

Sometimes I ask my students to do it orally; if they have no mistake they do not need to write...:-)

Give an Affirmative and Negative Answer in the Correct Tense 

A worksheet dealing with phonetics and some of the major difficulties my students usually have (maybe the same as yours). There are 7 exercises to differentiate vowel and consonant sounds, to differentiate z and s sounds an three exercises with the ending “ed” sound of regular verbs in the past. After the students do the exercises, they’ll find the transcriptions on the second page for auto-correction. The teacher may want to check it orally after their own correction. Finally a word search containing 4 of each vowel sound to find.

Short Vowels a/e/i/o/u

This is an activity for returning students that can be used in their first lesson to ease them back into English.



First, they need to complete the sentences that apply to what they did during vacation. Depending on their level you can ask them for more detailed answers.



Afterward, they should write three sentences detailing what they will do during Golden Week. There is a list of verbs at the bottom, in both English and Japanese, to aid them. If your students are high level you can remove the box and/or make them write more sentences.
