They read the passage, then unscramble the past tenses and write in the stem, then complete the T/F exercise and answer the questions. A key is included.

This is a restaurant role play for learners to practice ordering food. The dialogue is divided into 3 parts: at the front of the restaurant, ordering food, and getting the bill.  Different main courses and desserts can be brainstormed and substituted to extend the activity.  Also, after enough practice, learnerss could arrange desks in a restaurant setting. 

Restaurant Role Play 

Two sets of discussion questions based on the topic of weather and seasons.  Recommended plan:  

(1) Brainstorm weather words on the board. 

(2) Divide students into 2 groups, A and B.  Group A discuss their questions while Group B discuss their questions for ~ 10 minutes  

3)Group A discuss questions with Group B for 10 minutes.  Encourage students not to look at their partner's questions in order to practice their listening skills. 

(4) Ask students to share interesting information, provide feedback.
