5 O'clock Tea Poem

My worksheet is consists of 2 pages. A text for reading and exercises. 5 o'clock tea is famous all over the world, but not some many people know its traditions and facts. Hope both teachers and students will like my work!

The students have to look at the pictures and say if the things happen in picture 1, 2 or in both



They also have to answer some open questions.

Picture description  - 5 o'clock tea 

This board game is aimed at repeating daily routines vocabulary (go to bed, have breakfast/dinner/lunch, brush your teeth etc), as well as helping students repeat the easiest structures of telling the time (it’s _ o’clock). The students throw the die, then follow the written prompt to tell what the picture shows.

What time is it?

Sentence cubes to use when teaching daily routines. Set contains an action cube and a time cube. Times displayed on analog clocks. 



Students roll an activity and a time, then use them to make sentences, e.g. "I get up at 7 o'clock", "She goes to sleep at 9pm".



Work best if printed on stiff paper and in colour. If you cover them in tape, you can disinfect them after each use, making them somewhat virus-proof.

Sentence cubes - daily routine

It is designed to teach 'Telling The Time'. There are practises. A picture is used to show time. There are ''o'clock, quarter to, quarter past, half'' examples.

Telling The Time

It is a good and funny worksheet to practice "Daily Routine", "Time"  Yes/No questions, negatives and short/full answers. Students draw the ships of their own and destroy the partner's ships asking questions like 'Does Kate get up at 8 o'clock?' Possible answers: Yes, she does. Kate gets up at 8 o'clock. Or No, she doesn't. Kate doesn't get up at 8 o'clock. The players announce 'sunk' when the ship is completely destroyed, 'hit' when it is partly destroyed and 'missed' when the ship isn't found.

This workhsheet has eight speaking cards about present simple. You have to cut them and students have to ask, por example: Does she get up at ten o'clock? And the partner has to answer, yes or no according to the pictures

students should be put in pairs, each should be given one card and should keep it as a secret. they should tell their partners an affirmative sentence, ask a Y/N question and a time question like this.

Student A: Maria gets up at 6:00 o'clock. Does Allan get up at 6:00?

Student B: no, he doesn't. 

Student A: What time does he get up?

Student B : he gets up at 4:30.

don't forget to demonstrate the activity with one of the students in order to avoid giving long task description. 

monitor unobtrusively and take notes of their mistakes in order to do the delayed error correction. If they keep forgetting the third person form of the verbs just mention it gently.
