The first page they have to match the picture to the word.



The second page they have to circle the odd or picture that doesn't fit in the group. Ex. Number 1 is: Ball, Ball, Doll, Ball. The student must circle ball.

Phonetics

It is the typical "odd one out" exercise but with homophone words. Students have to identify the ODD word in the group and write its homophone on the right side.

Here the idea of odd one out is used on grammar rules etc. The student must spot the odd one out -nouns' plural, irregular verbs, conjunctions, AE vs BE etc. Should challenge good students as well.
