10 Useful Websites for Online Classes

This worksheet contains 18 conversation cards and a matching exercise. The cards can be cut out if desired and be used as conversation questions. Can be used with both young learners and adults (pre-int to upper-intermediate). Suitable for (older) teens, university students and adults. I usually cut up the questions and put them in the middle of the table. Students take a question in turn and read it aloud, so the others need to listen carefully and the ´reader´ needs to pronounce well. For some questions, students can work in groups or pairs and then report to the class. Then I let students answer the question - either students volunteer or we pick one at random (make sure everyone gets involved).

Let's Talk about Finding Mr(s) Right

A worksheet written for online classes but can be adapted by adding lines underneath for printing and using in a classroom. The students write the sentences in the correct order. The vocabulary used is ´can´ and present simple questions and positives sentences with ´at the weekend´. There are no answers so the worksheet can be sent to the student via Zoom, Skype or e-mail, or you can share your screen as all the sentences should fit on a standard size screen, or share via this page.

Also to use the verb to be with emotions. Made in Word so you can change it if you want. The words are covered over to be used in Online classes but you can remove the covers over the phrases if you want to print them out. The children are asked who the person is and then how they are feeling, then the blue cover is removed from the sentence. 

People and Emotions

Irregular verbs can sometimes become a serious obstacle on the way to improving english. Without them, you can’t say anything in the past tense, you can’t build a passive voice. Sometimes an ordinary table on a sheet does not want to get into your head. As an alternative, i offer my developments on irregular verbs.
