In this activity, based on the Spanish DELE exam (the official Spanish language exam) the students must discuss several proposals discussed at a city council meeting, then give a short monologue summarising and evaluating the ideas. 



This is designed for individual students and would work best in one-to-one classes or with small groups, but could be adapted into a group discussion activity. 



This would also work well as an in-class activity before setting a writing task related to global warming or the environment in general.

How to write an opinion essay
