Order of adjectives

This worksheet introduces the order of adjectives and the students begins with using the adjectives to create long sentences.  Thereafter, there are several exercises to practice by reordering the adjectives as well as creating independent sentence. Hope you can find some use for it. :)

ORDER OF ADJECTIVES

We can use more than one adjective before a noun. There is usually one correct order. This worksheet contains the rhyme and several exercises dealing with order of adjectives.



Students have to write the adjectives in the correct places, put the words in the correct order and write correct or not correct in the sentences. I hope it´s useful. I prepared this ws for my student who couldn´t understand the order of adjectives.

This worksheet is about the Order of Adjectives. Students will improve their knowledge by writing a word in a cell in task one. For task two, students can look around objects and describe them as similar as on the table. However, It has keys for the table on the second page. It is for Elementary students, Intermediate students, and ESL students as well.

This material will be useful and helpful for teachers who teach English grammar, work with adjectives and teach students to describe objects with using some adjectives in the correct order

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
