The last page requires you to cut out an advertisement from a Yellow Pages and then add your own questions.

I followed this up by getting the SS to find these people in a Yellow Pages.

Odd noun out

These exercises are for young learners to practise reading. When they read the sentences out loud, they grade themselves (by colouring the faces) according to how they read. Afterwards I check it of course, them having to read a sentence or two so I can see if they were true to themselves and their reading skills. You can change sentences to what you're teaching or aiming at. These are taken from my lessons so they include our sight/important words, vocabulary. Hope you and your learners enjoy it!

An exercise to review phrasal verbs with in or out. Add in or out to the verbs, then match them to the pictures. As an extension activity students can make their own examples with the verbs or even make a comic or a story.
