This is my serie classroom posters. They introduce some basic vocabulary and you can use them to decorate the classroom or give them to the students so they can make a pictionary.

The students have to look at the picture and read the statements. They have to write right (R), false (F) or we don\'t know (?). They have also to answer open questions about the picture and make questions for the given answers.

Picture description  - Playing outside

This is a fun discussion activity to do in an intermediate or advanced classroom of teenagers or adults. 

I use it in an inside-outside circle cooperative structure, but it could be used walking around and talking to different people, or in a "speed dating" style activity.

The students must choose between one or another type of activity and say why they prefer it. Both the person asking the question and the person hearing it should say their opinion.

A listening practice exercise using the Classic Christmas song, "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Also included is an excerpt from a news article outlining the recent controversy surrounding the song. Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
