This is my 2nd worksheet on this topic. Students fill in the boxes with the infinitive and past simple of the verbs suggested by the pictures. Hope you like it.

Picture Crossword Puzzle - Past Tense of Irregular Verbs

The good old exercise "The Odd One Out" used with the past tense.

The Odd One Out (The Past)

Firs of all, print the worksheet and cut EACH sentence, and then, cut EACH word. You can paste them in a cardboard to get stronger. Give the words of a sentence to a student and he/she has to put it in order the words to make the sentence or the question. They can paste it on the whiteboard.

Past perfect speaking exercise

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
