A board game to practice Passive Voice (only past tense forms are included). Students take turn to complete sentences using the structure or correcting errors in sentences.

This is a board to play a game of checkers. Whenever you move to a new space you must e.g. give past forms of a given word, translate it into your native language or make a sentence in a tense you are currently practising. The board is editable so feel free to add any content which meets your needs.

This game assumes that Ss know the proper form of the affirmative, negative, interrogative and WH question form of both the past simple and present perfect.

Description:

This is a great activity for students to practise past continuous tense in a fun way. Students will get cards with names, places and weapons. They will go ask everyone else what they have by using a dialog. Similar to the cluedo games. I changed it slightly. The structure, the dialog, and the role play cards are completely on my own. ************************************************************* This is the link to the role play cards ********************************************** Example dialog If the person has a name, he should say the name on the card instead of their own names. If not, they can say what their name is. Names

Past Continuous Tense a Fun Board Game 

A simple board game for practsing the past tense of irregular verbs. I use it wirth my A2 students. Students work in paris or groups. They use infinitives in the squares to make sentences using the past simple.
