Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>

Have the students read, answer or trace and color this page while the teacher is busy doing the oral reading exercises. The words chosen were easy to read and the pictures are easy to identify for EFL students as well. 

Similar exercises can be done prior to the final test to have the students adapt to the process.

In this worksheet, students review words they have learned in the unit, each with an original illustration. This time, the goal is to practice the blends of the consonants b and l. Students write out the words under each picture in a focused repetition activity that gradually ramps up the difficulty. The activity wraps up with a sight-reading activity to build up reading speed and to give the kids an opportunity to practice saying this challenging consonant blend!

The test is prepared to evaluate learners of Jolly Phonics Pupil Book 2. Teachers may choose cvc words for the first part of the test and tricky words for test b. Test c includes  the picture for the word "spray" which comes with the next lesson. The test item for test c is only 11. The word "spray" is but a bonus.Test d is for long vowels. Test e is for reading and comprehension. The students are to read and complete the pictures with the missing items and or colors.

Listening practice with Dreams by The Cranberries. Students are required to fill in the blanks or circle the answer while listening to the song. Teachers can have students look through the lyrics before listening, especially with beginners. There is really a lot you can do with this type of activity, depending on how long your class is, how many classes you want to spend on it. Have fun and enjoy the tune!
