MATCHING PICTURES

This is a simple worksheet that improves your students' writing skill. You can ask them to write in any tense or give it as a free-writing exercise.

picture story

A collection of pitures relating to shopping.  They can be used in any way you like.  I use them with the shopping and giving directions sheet.  I print out a black and white copy without the label under the picture and I print a colour copy with labels and put it on the board.  Students work in pairs to pick a picture out of the bag, identify it using the pictures on the board and then complete the dialogue before returning to the teacher , speaking the dialogue and then picking another picture.

Shopping Pictures

The worksheet shows a picture with people doing something and consists of two parts. In the first part, students must look at the picture and the statements given in the grid below and write the name of the person corresponding to each statement. In the second part, they must read the statements and put a cross in the yes/ no column.
