I use this with my low level high school students to introduce Halloween vocabulary. Usually they have some basic knowledge of Halloween terms but they can't remember the spelling/pronunciation. So it is a good reveiw or introduction to new vocabulary. It has an accompanying powerpoint, so when they see the words in the powerpoint they should then fill out the dictionary. 



Then I let them use the dictionary to play review games, spelling games or speaking games. For speaking games I use questions like "What are you afraid/ scared of?" "I'm scared of..." or "I like/don't like..."



It can also just be used as a warm up to guage their knowledge of the vocabulary or a review.
