A simple worksheet on the different places in our community for elementary students. Students need to write the vocabulary on the space provided and match it on the pictures.

Picture and word match cards for many types of games. There are places around town.

The student understands places vocabulary and be able to answer the questions. Those words are e.g. hospital, school, post office, shop. The questions used in this worksheet is wh-word "where".

Places and what you do there

The worksheet is to help develop the student's vocabulary about places in the city and to help them practice grammar by making simple sentences. 

The students will be able to identify the certain place and practice writing the word. They will have an example to read before practicing the writing themselves. 

The students have to answer the questions according to the places.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
