Bonfire night

This is the worksheet of matching story elements (Characters, setting, plot: beginning, middle and end). The story is The Little Red Riding Hood. Teachers can use it as an exit ticket or a warm-up activity.

A gap reading for the topic. Cut the missing words; let the students first fill the gaps as thez see; then give them shuffled words; let them complete the text. Can be used as a pairwork if the students share the text and after filling the gaps should make up 3 (or more) questions about their part of the text. Then they change the texts and look for the answers. Changing is also possible before handing in  the words pile - they can check the partner's gaps and brainstorm or correct.

Listening exercises directed to checking general comprehension on the plot of "Cinderella" film. Such tasks as transcibing a song, answering to questions, studying vocabulary on the topic Family, Action Verbs, Daily Routine Verbs can be found here. At first, students are suggested to do the pre-task - studying vocabulary of the film; then proceed with the watching movie and fullfilling of the rest tasks.
