This worksheet is designed to guide students to make a descriptive acrostic poem using the letters of their name. The worksheet provides a sentence prompt for each letter of the English alphabet. Students find the letters in their name, complete the corresponding sentences, and then create an acrostic poem on a separate sheet of paper. 



An acrostic poem lists the letter in the student's name (written in large capital letters) down the left side of the page, and each letter starts a sentence (from left to right) about the student. Students with a repeated letter in their names can use the same prompt twice, but provide different answers each time the letter appears.
