In this worksheet My students reviews what we studied for the whole week.



Homophones are discussed in part A.

Students should identify the homophones and insert them where it is appropriate. 



I also have the students reviewing Subject and Object pronouns. 



They also give the possibilities for each noun. 

Ex: The man-He-Him-His-His



Then I have student practicing the pronouns and possessive adjectives. 



Lastly the students are to correct the sentences.

Possessive and animal

Teachers should pre-teach the position of possessive adjectives in a sentence and explain that they always come before a noun.Students should then fill in the blanks using an appropriate possessive adjective each time.Students or teachers could also ask questions such as:"Whose is this dog?"and provide the answers.

Nouns - Possessive case.

Students learn how to use nouns in attributive clause (Possessive Case). At first, it helps them to use language more properly and concentrate on the main ideas. Then students can understand other texts (especially articles) better.

We use possessive adjectives to express who owns (or ‘possesses’) something. A possessive adjective is used in front of a noun (a thing). For example:



My computer.



Your pen.



Our car.



ESL Objective: The students will practice question form (“Is/are + it/he/she/they + possessive noun or possessive pronoun + noun?”)

Printed cards (Print Question cards on one color and 
Possession cards on another)

Jenga game (or comparable), ideally one for each 3-4 students.
