This worksheet was made for elementary and pre-intermediate students. It consists of five different exercises. The key is provided on page two. Hope you'll find it helpful.

My Classroom

The focus is on reviewing adjective + preposition and verb + preposition and gerund form.  Students must remember the preposition that belongs with a particular adjective or verb and to change the verb in brackets to gerund form.

Students can either fill in the blank of a sentence or question, then answer the question.

Gerund Board Game

Useful as part of a lesson on prepositions and prepositional phrases.  Some translation into Spanish, but this can easily be changed. Solutions are given.

The House

A great set of pictures, with some exercises. True or false, answer the questions, put the verbs into the present continuous tense. Lots of opportunities to practise prepositions of place, as well as present continuous tense.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
