A picture with some true or false questions, then a short reading comprehension. Good to practise basic structures and present simple versus present continuous. Although from the viewpoint of a child, I think it is suitable for adults.  NOTE: it says 'out photos' when it should be 'our photos.' I have resubmitted the worksheet with the correction.

A Reading Comprehension about a favourite teacher. They read the passage and answer the questions in full sentences. I think this will suit younger learners. They can then write a short paragraph about Miss French.

They have to decide whether the sentences describe picture A or B. This is essentially a reading exercise. There are plenty more things going on in these pictures, so they could write some sentences themselves. If you look closely, you can see tiny numbers. This is because these are advent calendars. Mr Bean´s activity goes with the hand with a video that you can dowmload from you tube called"Mr Bean in the Wild". Here students watch the video and learn how to use present continous. then they try to remember the vocabulary and write it on it.

Pupils complete the sentences using  the  verbs  in  brackets. They can correct the possible  mistakes on  the  blackboard.  I hope they do it correctly. Thanks.

This is a game I use after a sequence about clothes and weather.  Before playing it, the children watched the video.  Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f83MPjwg6E.  Players take a weather card, they say what the weather is like and then they dress the paper doll of their choice with a suitable set of clothes.  The player who dresses the doll describes what he / she does (Caillou is putting a T-shirt on...).  Once Caillou or Rosie is dressed, the others describe him / her (He / She is wearing... because it is...).  I usually ask them to be precise and name the colours as well but it takes some time.

It is a bingo game that you can hand out your students by cutting the paper in the middle. Each of the students will have different pictures. You will read sentences which are telling the actions on the pictures and they will put a tick if they have that picture. When one of the students puts tick all of the pictures he/she has, he/she will say bingo and be the winner.
