What are they doing?

A reading exercise to introduce or revise use of present perfect continuous. Context is an apparent love triangle with a twist. It's doubled on the same page to save paper. Edit according to your needs!

What have they been doing?

This is a general revision of Simple Present, Present Continuous, Future, Past Simple, Past Continuous, Present Perfect Tenses. You will find really short grammar explanations and activities for each tense. At the end there are some activities to let students compare tenses and decide which tense to use. I hope this worksheet works for you and your students.

Revision of tenses

I created this board game for my young learners to practice the present continuous tense and possessive adjectives. They have to make affirmative sentences with the characters on the pictures and the action verbs provided. When they find an asterisk they should also use the corresponding possessive adjective. For example:

Mr. and Mrs. Sharp are washing their clothes in the Laundromat.

Charlie Harris is doing his exercises in the Health Club. 

Alex Molina is feeding his dog, etc.
