Second part to Present Simple affirmative. This worksheet was created to help beginner students at the time simple present is taught. I believe in the old fashioned "drills" as a teaching tool. This would be an example

This is a worksheet for students that are aware of the present simple negative and the rules that apply.



It could be set as HW or as a recap activity. 

It can be extended by getting SS to write their own sentences.

Activity sheet to practice changing sentences into the negative tense. Special attention needs to be paid to make sure that the 3rd person singular verbs are used appropriately.



Also there is no answer sheet (sorry), but question 9 does have 2 verbs that need to be changed. I use that as a trick to see who is paying attention. A lot of students don't see it without help though (so you might need to double check that they saw it).
