An other easy reading comprehension for older beginners, gives three different opinions about students returning to school. Also has an exercise asking about the students holidays, hope it's useful

Back to school

Prompts for 4 dialogues to practice job interviews. Recycles adjectives for personality, and asking and answering in the present simple. I distributed the roles in an 8-person group, had all the interviewers talk to all 4 applicants, and asked them to choose the best-fitting candidate. The locations of the jobs/applicants refer to districts in Budapest but can easily be adapted.

This ws is to empower your students! We all have a superpower - or we can work at it! - Ask them to consider what theirs is, or what it might be if they work at it. On the ws, they read about the people, complete the grid, answer the questions and rate themselves on 9 'superpowers'.
