This worksheet is about the British Royal Family from Elizabeth II to Princess Charlotte. Students have to read and answer questions about the members of the Royal Family. There´s also a guessing game. Then students can create a game for their classmates, write a question or a riddle, swap their exercise books and try to answer their classmates´ questions and riddles.

Play the game in pairs or more. Student's turn, asks the previous or the next student, "How often ...? then the previous/next answers it. For intermediate and upper levels, make follow up questions

The battleship game worksheet is to practise and drill the structure of the questions and short answers in Present Simple tense. The students draw in the first grid 1 four-cell ship, 2 three-cell, 3 two-cell and 4 one-cell. The ships can be placed vertically and horizontally, not being connected to each other.  Hope you enjoy it.

This is a typical snakes and ladders boardgame with vocabulary about daily routine, household chores and free time activities.

Students have to make a sentence with the vocabulary on the square they land on. I'm uploading the board in parts because of the size of the file. 

If you want to make the game more challenging you will also find:

- a subject pronoun dice. Students have to make a sentence not only with the vocabulary provided but also with the pronoun they get.

- A dice that tells them whether they have to make an affirmative sentence, negative, yes/no question or information question.

DAILY ROUTINE SNAKES AND LADDERS PART 1

Use the board game to revise ANIMAL vocabulary. Pictures and questions make up the game. 

Animals Board Game

Students play the board game, using a dice and their regular eraser. The aim of the game is for the students to practice asking and answering "wh" questions. It is a pair or small group activity.

Roll and Say - WH questions

A board game requiring at least two players. It could be used as a warm up, at the beginning of the course but also as a review. Dice & counters needed, or a coin (head - 1, tails - 2, or the other way round).
Questions are in the simple present, simple past & present perfect. 
You can adapt the game easily.

All about you

These worksheets are designed to help students learn/revise hotel related vocabulary and key phrases used when booking a hotel room. Students match the types of room and items to the pictures, then fill in the gaps in the conversation between a receptionist and a person booking a room (this was adapted from an excellent worksheet posted by Marg https://en.islcollective.com/english-esl-worksheets/grammar/questions-interrogative/making-enquiries-and-booking-hotel-accommodation/9203 (I hope that\'s okay!) 



After that, students design an advertisement for their own hotel, then repeat the previous conversation using their self-designed hotels as the basis for the booking role play.



My students had quite a lot of fun with this, hope it is of use to others on this site too.

Questions (more than 200 in total) with a printable blank Snakes and Ladders game board. Can be used as a classroom game or the questions can be used as a stand-alone quiz (if there are too many students to play around the game board) - divide the class into teams if necessary.

A classic "Find someone who ..." game around the topic of TV watching [with solutions]. 



I took a bunch of comments from an online forum where teens answered the question: "How much TV do you watch a day?"



The answers are neatly formatted to like like the actual comments on the net [pages 2-3]. Cut them all up, and hand them out evenly to the kids. Help them with any difficult words they are not familiar with.



Then hand out the questionnaire [page 1] with the types of people they have to find among the online respondents. They will have to walk around and ask questions from each other to be able to fill their questionnaire.



You'll also find a vocab list and some other exercises on pages 4.
