I created this second worksheet for my beginner ESOL group who are leaning to write simple sentences as well as knowing when to write sentences or questions based on the provided punctuation mark.

Mini-practice on questions forms with some theoretical introduction. First there is a grammatical descriptio for question words, then two tasks for practice. The first task is about forming questions for the underlined words. The second task is an easy re-ordering of words to get questions.

In this worksheet, it covers seasons, types of weather, vocabulary on clothes on what to wear and what not to wear in certain seasons. 



There is reading comprehension as well, which gives the students a chance to read and answer questions from the small story.

There are four reading texts that have been adapted from World´s Largest Lessons on the theme of "Education" as one of the 17 Global Goals. Q-Matrix (Wiederhold, 1995) is a tool that can be used by students to construct questions that range from lower order thinking questions to higher-order thinking questions. The students can create their own questions related to the texts that they are required to read. The student-generated questions could be discussed in the class to help students to improve their higher order thinking skills, questioning skills and learners´ autonomy. Thinking Tools (Q-Matrix and ESL Reading)

Students will practice asking and responding to the question: "Have you heard about_?" 

This is a flick coin game, fun activity where the learners play one on one, flicking a coin and developing the key expression by themselves as the coin lands on a picture.  They then cross out the square, or color it in.  This can be played in a number of ways.  Learners can see who can get four in a row first (like connect four) or they can see who can fill in the most squares.
