Philosophy of Food

CL game quiz & exchange or as a One minute speaking Group of 3. student A draws a card and speaks for one minute about the question. Student B tracks time and student C asks questions in case student A runs out of things to say before time is up. The 21 cards can easily be extended with more questions.

Snakes and Ladders - Have you ever...

You can use this activity as a fun way to test your students' knowledge of, say, words from the previous ESL lesson. Students can escape from the mammoth by answering your questions correctly. You could also have them decide on the correctness of sentences you read out to the class.
