Rooms of a House 

Worksheet for young learners or students with learning problem, elementary level. The students look at the pictures of the rooms and complete the letters for each piece of furniture.

Content:

6 Lotto Cards and 72 little cards.

Print them on A4 format or print 2 pages on 1 A4 to get A5 format LOTTO cards.



Players: 2-6



Rules:

Every player gets a lotto card (A4 showing a table with 12 pictures).

Shuffle the little cards face down and lay them on the table. The player whose turn it is may turn a little card. If the same picture is on his card he lays on his  LOTTO card. Say the word of the picture you turn. Lay it back if it is not on your card. Then the next player gets the turn.

The first player who has a full LOTTO card wins.

This worksheet is for practicing the vocabulary of the rooms in the house for young learners. It is written in progressive tense to elicit the tense usage. At the end students can talk what they are doing in their favorite rooms. 

Rooms Reading and Matching

Cut the names of the rooms of the house (KITCHEN, BEDROOM, LIVING ROOM, BATHROOM) and stick them on the appropriate space (long rectangular empty boxes). There is no right or wrong choice so far. Then, cut the pictures of the furniture items and stick them in the appropriate room.
